Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions in Shelby, NC is seeking a friendly Cook to help prepare and serve fresh, appealing meals for residents and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This part-time weekend role supports our kitchen team and requires attention to food safety and quality.

You should have a High School diploma or GED, a ServSafe certificate or be willing to obtain, and prefer culinary training or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• ServSafe certificate or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
• Culinary apprenticeship or formal training is a plus.
• 1 year of job-related experience in food preparation or therapeutic diets preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment in NC.
• Healthcare, hospitality, or service environment experience beneficial.
