Join us in delivering meals that support residents' well-being and enjoyment. As part of our kitchen, you will prepare meals, maintain sanitary conditions, and collaborate with the Dietary Manager to meet dietary plans and resident preferences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, ensuring nutritious, appetizing meals.
• Meal Service: Serve meals in a timely manner with quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain clean, organized, sanitary kitchen; proper storage of supplies.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Dietary Manager and kitchen staff; assist training of new staff.
• Inventory Control: Track food supplies and report shortages.
• Resident Engagement: Accommodate dietary requests and preferences for resident satisfaction.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and proper sanitation.
