Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Charlotte, NC, is hiring a Cook to support our Dining Services Manager with food ordering, preparation, and delivery while ensuring kitchen sanitation and supplies. The role involves preparing meals that are nutritious and appetizing and delivering excellent service to residents and guests.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months in a food service setting; a Food Handlers Permit may be required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months’ prior experience in a food service department preferred.
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.

Responsibilities

• As a Cook, you will work closely with our Dining Services Manager and be responsible for food ordering, preparation, and delivery as well as kitchen sanitation.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and provide excellent customer service to residents and external customers.
