Pine View Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Weekend Nursing Unit Manager (RN) to lead the nursing team, oversee resident care, and ensure high standards of quality and compliance. This role emphasizes leadership, staff mentoring, and effective coordination of weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license, 3+ years of nursing experience (preferably in long-term care) and at least 1 year in nursing administration.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (preferred in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting).
• At least 1 year of experience in nursing administration.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
• Compassionate and dedicated to providing superior resident care.
• Ability to work weekends with flexibility and adaptability.
• Completion of Preceptor Training (or willingness to complete upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead & supervise nursing staff, ensuring staffing coverage and quality resident care.
• Staff development & training to keep teams up to date.
• Direct resident care per individualized care plans.
• Conduct and document resident assessments on admission and during stay.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with adherence to policies.
• Recruit & retain nursing talent.
• Resolve conflicts and advocate for residents and families.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
