Job summary

Coastal Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead and mentor nursing staff, ensure compliant, high-quality resident care, and coordinate weekend operations. You will supervise daily staffing, conduct assessments, and support ongoing staff education in a fast-paced long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, 3+ years of nursing experience with 1+ year in administration, and proven leadership abilities.

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN license in state of practice.
Minimum 3 years nursing experience (long-term care or similar setting preferred).
At least 1 year in nursing administration.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
Compassionate and dedicated to high-quality resident care.
Ability to work weekends with flexibility.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise nursing staff with daily staffing, coverage, and resident care quality.
Staff development and ongoing training for all staff.
Direct resident care and adherence to individualized care plans.
Resident assessments and documentation upon admission and during stay.
Assist in treatment plan development and ensure compliance with policies and resident rights.
Recruit and retain nursing talent to build a strong team.
Conflict resolution and advocacy with residents and families.
Drive continuous improvement and support the management team.
