Job summary

Mission Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Nevada seeks a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor (RN) to oversee clinical staff and ensure high-quality resident care. This role collaborates with physicians and leadership to coordinate treatments and documentation while ensuring safety.

You will support LPNs and CNAs, manage patient conditions, and uphold skilled nursing standards in a positive work environment for weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States.
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare facility.
• Solid understanding of skilled nursing standards of care.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and leadership to provide patient care.
• Oversee and direct LPNs, CNAs, and other clinical staff in nursing procedures and treatments as ordered.
• Review nurses’ notes and ensure accurate documentation.
• Administer treatments and medications, start IVs, and chart/document as required.
• Interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and assess patients’ conditions.
• Maintain a kind, positive, and safe work environment, escalating concerns to the ADON or DON.
