Job summary

Genesiscareers seeks an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing and manage the nursing units on an every-other weekend schedule. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care, clinical outcomes, and staff satisfaction.

You will lead clinical operations, mentor staff, and coordinate with departments to ensure safe, continuous 24/7 care while optimizing staffing and minimizing overtime. Must hold RN licensure; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing ( BSN preferred ).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shift, ensuring policy and procedure compliance.
• Facilitate care delivery model implementation, mentor staff, and coordinate with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staff for 24/7 care, aiming to minimize overtime and agency use.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, and make recommendations on promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Education

RN Licensure required (State Board of Nursing)
