Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations, supervise staff, manage medications, and ensure care plans are followed. This role requires a Texas RN license, strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

You will coordinate shift reports, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with infection control. The position offers full-time weekend shifts with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, tuition

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the State of Texas
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills
• Brings excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
• Can remain composed during emergencies and manage workflow effectively

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor administration and coordinate reorders
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure care plans follow policy and physician orders
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments and staff nurse duties
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe physician orders, complete assessments, maintain records
• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control procedures and safe work practices
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances, contact families, complete incident reports
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders, results, and follow-up
