Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor to oversee daily nursing activities on shift, ensuring care quality in line with federal, state, and local standards. The role requires leadership, clinical expertise, and effective communication with physicians, staff, and residents.

Responsibilities include supervising LVNs/LPNs and CNAs, coordinating resident care, and ensuring timely documentation and adherence to care plans. RN licensure and CPR certification are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current RN license and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in resident care.
• Supervise and guide LVN/LPNs, CNAs, and other staff.
• Manage IV administration and med cart duties.
• Respond promptly to call signals and monitor changes in condition.
• Complete rounds and provide reports to nursing leadership.
• Develop and implement care plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing staff training.
• Communicate orders and changes to physicians and nursing staff.
