Job summary

PACS Group is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care facility. The role requires supervising nurses and CNAs, managing IVs, and ensuring high-quality resident care under regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have a BSN, at least 2 years of supervisory and long-term care experience, and familiarity with PCC EHR. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for coordinating care and reporting to the DON/ADON.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
• 2+ years supervisory experience; 2+ years in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with EHR software, PCC preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication and strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in resident care.
• Manage and administer IVs.
• Supervise LVN/LPN Nurses, Treatment Nurses and CNAs in care delivery with prompt response to call signals.
• Make rounds and provide reports.
• Perform skilled care assessments.
• Participate in staff orientation and ongoing training.
• Respond to and monitor care issues and changes in condition.
• Supervise staff and assist with disciplinary measures as needed.
• Communicate with physicians and other health professionals regarding resident care and changes in condition.
• Oversee care plans and ensure regulatory compliance and nursing standards.
