The Weekend RN Supervisor will supervise staff, manage medication workflows, and ensure proper care plans, documentation, and shift communication, while maintaining compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage workflow in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee medication management and coordinate reorders.
• Implement care plans and ensure policy and physician orders are followed.
• Provide direct care support when needed and supervise treatments.
• Manage documentation and transcribe physician orders promptly.
• Lead shift communication and ensure staff are informed of care needs.
• Ensure infection control procedures and safe work practices.
• Respond to staffing needs and coordinate coverage.
• Investigate variances, contact families, and complete incident reports.
• Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up.
