The role requires a Texas RN license, strong clinical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise medication management, care plans, documentation, and shift communications while upholding infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Texas RN licensed
• Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
• Calm under emergencies and able to manage workflow
• Passionate about quality resident care and collaborative team support

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties appropriately based on resident census and staff availability
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor medication administration and coordinate reorders
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure care plans are followed according to company policy and physician orders
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments, and serve as staff nurse as needed
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe physician orders promptly, complete assessments, and maintain accurate records
• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in shift reports and ensure staff are informed of care needs
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control procedures and safe work practices
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for staffing shortages
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances, contact families, and complete incident reports
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up
