The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a dependable Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations on weekend shifts in Texas. You will supervise nursing staff, oversee medication management, implement care plans, and provide direct care support while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

This role requires a Texas-licensed RN with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, capable of managing emergencies and staffing needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of Texas.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: ensure plans followed per policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: perform and supervise treatments as needed.
• Manage Documentation: transcribe orders, complete assessments, maintain records.
• Lead Shift Communication: participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: enforce infection control and safe practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: coordinate coverage during shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: investigate variances, contact families, complete reports.
• Manage Lab Work: monitor orders, results and follow-up.
