The Arboretum of Winnie in Texas is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations and resident care on weekend shifts. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate medication administration, and ensure care plans are followed with accuracy and compassion.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license, demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills, and can remain composed during emergencies while coordinating with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license in Texas and strong nursing clinical skills.
• Proven leadership, communication, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to lead weekend shift and manage staff workflow.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties based on census and staff availability.
• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor administration and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans: Ensure care plans are followed according to policy and orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments and serve as staff nurse as needed.
• Manage Documentation: Transcribe physician orders promptly and maintain accurate records.
• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in shift reports and inform staff of care needs.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control procedures and safe work practices.
• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages.
• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances, contact families, and complete incident reports.
• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up.
