Job summary
Pleasant Springs Healthcare Center in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care. You will supervise nursing staff, oversee medication administration, implement care plans, and maintain documentation and compliance.
This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to respond to staffing needs in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- RN licensed in Texas with active license.
- Ability to supervise weekend nursing staff and coordinate care.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Nursing Staff: Delegate duties based on census and staffing.
- Oversee Medication Management: Monitor administrations and reorders.
- Implement Care Plans: Follow policies and physician orders.
- Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments as needed.
- Manage Documentation: Transcribe orders and maintain records.
- Lead Shift Communication: Report and brief staff on care needs.
- Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control and safety practices.
- Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for shortages.
- Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances and complete reports.
- Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders and results.
