Markent Personnel is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor in Connecticut to lead weekend nursing operations, ensuring safe, person-centered care and regulatory compliance. The role reports to nursing administration and requires strong clinical leadership with EMR proficiency.

The position includes a Baylor option, weekend shift coverage, and full-time benefits. Expectment of 2–3 years’ SNF/LTC experience and active CT RN licensure; commitment to weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC or sub-acute rehab.
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and make critical weekend decisions.
• Hands-on EMR experience (e.g., PointClickCare) for documentation and orders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekend nursing operations, ensuring person-centered care aligned with care plans and physician orders.
• Conduct routine rounds across clinical units to monitor resident conditions and staff workflows.
• Provide rapid clinical decision-making during status changes or facility issues.
• Assist with weekend admissions, transfers, room assignments, and discharge orders.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure shift accountability.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation compliant with CT DPH and CMS regulations.
