Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking Weekend RN Supervisors to lead weekend nursing operations at a Connecticut facility. This direct-hire, on-site role supports unit staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains resident safety during weekend shifts.

Promotes person-centered care, oversees triage, EMR documentation (PointClickCare), and coordinates admissions with nurses and CNAs. Baylor schedule options are available with full-time benefits; weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC or sub-acute rehab.
• Prior supervisory experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage shift priorities, and make decisions.
• Hands-on EMR experience for documentation and orders.

Responsibilities

• Weekend clinical leadership: supervise and direct weekend nursing operations.
• Conduct rounds to monitor resident conditions, meds, infection control, and staff workflows.
• Provide rapid clinical decisions during status changes or emergencies.
• Assist admissions, transfers, and room assignments on weekends.
• Coach and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; ensure shift accountability.
• Ensure compliant EMR documentation per DPH and CMS.
