Job summary

The Greens at Hendersonville is seeking an experienced RN/LPN Weekend Unit Manager to lead the weekend nursing team and oversee clinical operations. This full-time role provides hands-on leadership to ensure residents receive exceptional care each weekend.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on leadership experience in long-term care, strong clinical assessment skills, and a commitment to staff mentoring and resident-centered care. A $12,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina RN or LPN license.
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing.
• Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Nursing Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and support nursing staff.
• Dependable and available to work every weekend.
• Compassionate and committed to exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising weekend clinical operations for your assigned unit
• Supporting, coaching, and mentoring nurses and CNAs
• Ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care
• Performing clinical assessments and ensuring accurate documentation
• Monitoring changes in resident conditions and communicating with physicians and families
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
• Supporting infection prevention, quality improvement, and survey readiness
• Providing hands-on leadership and problem-solving support for weekend staff
• Promoting a positive, collaborative environment for residents and employees
