Job summary

The Greens at Hendersonville in Hendersonville, NC is seeking an experienced RN/LPN Weekend Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team. This role leads weekend shifts, supervises nurses and CNAs, and ensures residents receive exceptional care with scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NC RN or LPN license.
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Leadership experience in Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or similar.
• Ability to lead and mentor weekend staff.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

The Greens at Hendersonville is seeking an experienced and dependable RN/LPN Weekend Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team.

This position is designed for a strong nurse leader who is available to work every weekend while enjoying some flexibility with weekend scheduling. If you have Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Charge Nurse, or Unit Manager experience and are ready to take on a leadership role, we want to hear from you.

As our Weekend Unit Manager, you'll provide hands-on clinical leadership, support the nursing team, and help ensure our residents continue receiving exceptional care throughout the weekend.

Your Impact as a Weekend RN/LPN Unit Manager

As the Weekend Unit Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight while supporting nurses and CNAs throughout the weekend.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supervising weekend clinical operations for your assigned unit
• Supporting, coaching, and mentoring nurses and CNAs
• Ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care
• Performing clinical assessments and ensuring accurate documentation
• Monitoring changes in resident conditions and communicating appropriately with physicians and families
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
• Supporting infection prevention, quality improvement, and survey readiness
• Providing hands-on leadership and problem-solving support for weekend staff
• Promoting a positive, collaborative environment for residents and employees

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina RN or LPN License
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
• Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Nursing Leadership experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
• Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and support nursing staff
• Dependable and available to work every weekend
