Job summary

The Greens at Hendersonville is seeking an experienced RN/LPN Weekend Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team in Hendersonville, NC. This weekend-focused role leads the unit, supports the nursing team, and ensures high-quality resident care throughout the weekend.

Active NC RN or LPN license is required, with LTC experience preferred. Weekend availability and leadership skills are essential for this full-time position with a $12,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina RN or LPN license.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Nursing Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to effectively lead, motivate, and support nursing staff.
• Dependable and available to work every weekend.
• Compassionate and committed to exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise weekend clinical operations for the unit.
• Support, coach, and mentor nurses and CNAs.
• Ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Perform clinical assessments and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor changes in resident conditions and communicate with physicians/families.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Support infection prevention, quality improvement, and survey readiness.
• Provide hands-on leadership and problem-solving support for weekend staff.
• Promote a positive, collaborative environment for residents and employees.
