Job summary

The Greens at Gastonia is seeking an experienced Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing operations on weekends, ensuring high-quality resident care and strong clinical support for the team. This role involves supervising RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, with a focus on regulatory compliance and care coordination.

Ideal candidates will have an active NC RN license, CPR certification, and prior supervision in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current North Carolina RN license (active).
• Current CPR certification.
• Supervisory and long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care during the shift.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and document care as needed.
• Supervise and support CNAs, LPNs, and RNs on duty.
• Respond to changes in resident condition and communicate with physicians and families.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination.
