Job summary

The Greens at Hendersonville is seeking an experienced RN/LPN Weekend Unit Manager to join our clinical leadership team in Hendersonville, NC. This weekend-focused role requires availability to work every weekend with some scheduling flexibility, offering a meaningful leadership path in a skilled nursing setting.

You will lead the weekend clinical operations, support nurses and CNAs, and ensure high-quality resident care while coordinating with families and physicians.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NC RN or LPN license.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or Nursing Leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• Dependable and available to work every weekend.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising weekend clinical operations for your assigned unit.
• Coaching and mentoring nurses and CNAs.
• Ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Performing clinical assessments and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Monitoring resident conditions and communicating with physicians and families.
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Supporting infection prevention and quality improvement.
• Providing hands-on leadership for weekend staff.
• Promoting a positive, collaborative environment.
