Job summary

The Greens at Hendersonville in Hendersonville, NC, seeks an experienced RN/LPN Weekend Unit Manager to lead the weekend nursing team and maintain high standards of care.

This full-time weekend role offers scheduling flexibility, a $12,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay based on experience, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Weekend leaders collaborate with physicians and families to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NC RN or LPN license.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Unit Manager or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work every weekend and manage weekend operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekend clinical operations for the assigned unit.
• Coach, mentor, and support nurses and CNAs.
• Ensure high-quality, resident-centered care and accurate documentation.
• Perform clinical assessments and monitor resident changes.
• Communicate with physicians and families as needed.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regs.
• Support infection prevention, quality improvement, and survey readiness.
• Provide hands-on leadership and problem-solving for weekend staff.
• Promote a positive, collaborative environment for residents and staff.
