Job summary

Research Medical Center seeks an RN Coordinator Trauma/Womens to support obstetrical trauma patients across the hospital journey, from trauma resuscitation to OR and ICU. The role interfaces with the Director of Trauma Services and Trauma Medical Director to ensure high-quality care and timely activations according to ACS standards.

Requires acute care experience, 90-day credential timelines for ACLS/BCLS/NTAP/TTCP and RN licensure; associates degree is required.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to obstetrical trauma patients in a patient/family-centered approach as per policies and professional guidelines.
• Remain available for all trauma activations 24/7 with response times per ACS standards.
• Coordinate with Trauma Services leadership to support performance improvement opportunities and action plans.
