Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) at our Tennessee facility. The RT will assess, treat, and document care for geriatric residents, perform bedside therapies, and collaborate with nursing and medical teams to enhance patient outcomes.

The role requires COARC-accredited education, state licensure as RRT/CRT, and BLS certification, with weekend availability as part of a standing schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a COARC-accredited Associate or Bachelor’s Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and document daily/weekly/monthly activities.
• Attend IDT meetings and participate in care planning.
• Experience with tracheostomy and long-term care settings.
• Follow facility policies and pathways for respiratory interventions.
