Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team in Florida. The RT will assess and treat geriatric residents, operate and maintain respiratory equipment, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.

Independent work with strong clinical skills is essential. Candidates must hold an AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy, be licensed as RRT or CRT in Florida, and have experience in a long-term care

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and documentation.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care setting.
