Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice in Florida and possess AS/BS in Respiratory Therapy, with RRT or CRT credentials, ready to provide compassionate care to geriatric residents.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, initiating therapies, documenting progress, and participating in IDT meetings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program and licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients with varied respiratory and non-respiratory conditions.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform a variety of bedside treatments and document daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
