Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric team in a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidates must hold a COARC-accredited Respiratory program and be licensed as an RRT or CRT in Florida, with current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement respiratory therapies to improve residents' respiratory and related conditions.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and provide daily documentation and care coordination.
• Attend IDT meetings and participate in in-services for nursing staff.
