Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join its geriatric care team. The RT evaluates and treats residents independently, maintains records, and participates in interdepartmental activities within a Skilled Nursing facility.

Candidates must hold a COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy and be licensed (RRT/CRT) with current BLS certification; Florida background check is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Administer bedside treatments and participate in nursing staff in-services.
