Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Mount Juliet, TN invites a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric-focused team. This full-time role requires independent assessment and therapy with minimal supervision in a skilled nursing setting.

The incumbent will perform bedside procedures, document daily activities, participate in IDT meetings, and manage caseloads while following facility policies to enhance residents' respiratory health and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice Respiratory Therapy in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Completes respiratory assessments and implements techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and complete in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation and participate in IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheostomy and long-term care setting.
• Follow facility procedures and policies; manage caseloads.
• Described in the department policy: oxygen weaning, airway clearance, CPAP/BIPAP, chest physiotherapy, and related therapies.

COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program
