Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Pegram, TN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our Skilled Nursing team. The candidate must be licensed in the state, able to evaluate and treat independently, and possess a passion for geriatric care.

Responsibilities include completing assessments, initiating therapies, documenting, attending IDT meetings, and performing bedside treatments, with experience in tracheotomy and long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the state of practice.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and progress rehab patients with respiratory and non-respiratory illness.
• Initiate therapies, maintain records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation and attend IDT meetings.
