Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Smyrna, TN is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The ideal candidate will provide independent assessment and treatment, support geriatric residents, and manage a defined shift schedule including weekends.

You will perform bedside therapies, document progress, participate in IDT meetings, and maintain respiratory equipment, including tracheostomy care when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensed in the state of practice (RRT or CRT).

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly documentation
• Attend applicable IDT meetings
