Job summary

Howmet Aerospace, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a hands-on production coordinator to manage daily work activities and meet delivery schedules. This role requires working across shifts in a manufacturing setting with safety and TPM practices in place.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and be eligible to work in the United States. Associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work activities on a shift-to-shift basis to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Operate and support production processes in accordance with standardized methods.
• Maintain equipment and apply TPM or other maintenance approaches to ensure performance and safety.
• Follow 5S and safety regulations and ensure attendance and shift turnover requirements.
