Methodist Senior Services is seeking PRN Weekend Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team at Martha Coker in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Current license/certification in Mississippi.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adequate computer skills to complete required job duties and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs and develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Evaluating residents and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Providing skilled occupational therapy services per physician orders and plans of care.
• Addressing functional limitations related to self-care, daily living activities, mobility, and independence.
• Monitoring resident progress and documenting services per standards.
• Collaborating with residents, families, nursing staff, and the care team.
• Supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants as appropriate.
• Promoting resident safety, functional independence, and quality of life.
