Job summary

Methodist Senior Services is seeking a dependable PRN Weekend Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team at Martha Coker in Yazoo City, Mississippi. This weekend-only role offers flexibility for a PT looking to support residents and maintain mobility, strength and independence.

You will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and deliver skilled PT services according to physician orders. Collaboration with staff and supervision of assistants will be part of daily practice.

Qualifications

• Master or BS in Physical Therapy and state license.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computerized documentation and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled PT interventions per physician orders.
• Address mobility, strength, balance, transfers, gait, and function.
• Monitor progress and document services per standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise PTAs as appropriate.
• Promote resident safety and quality of life.
