Job summary

Methodist Senior Services seeks a PRN Weekend Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Traceway Retirement Community rehabilitation team in Tupelo, Mississippi. The OT evaluates residents, designs individualized treatment plans, and delivers skilled therapy to maintain or regain independence while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes flexible weekend hours, clinical autonomy, and impact on resident quality of life within a faith-based, non-profit setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Mississippi license/certification preferred.
• Prefer current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled OT services per physician orders and plans of care.
• Address ADLs, mobility, and safety to promote independence.
• Monitor progress and document services per standards.
• Collaborate with residents, families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise OT assistants as appropriate.
• Promote resident safety and quality of life.
