Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current MA Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English — both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence, ADLs, mobility, balance, and safety.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to enhance ADLs and upper-extremity function.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to establish goals and deliver coordinated care.
• Train residents and caregivers in adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and fall prevention strategies.
• Complete timely documentation, monitor progress, and maintain regulatory compliance.
