Job summary

Brudnick Center for Living seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate residents, create individualized treatment plans, and promote independence in daily activities. This PRN weekend coverage role offers $50–$55 per hour based on experience.

You will collaborate with physicians and the rehab team, document progress, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting safe, independent living in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current, active MA Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum 1-year experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence, functional abilities, and quality of life.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to enhance activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, mobility, balance, and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to establish goals and deliver coordinated care.
• Recommend and train residents and caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and fall prevention strategies to promote safe, independent living.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation, monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
