Jeffrey & Susan Brudnick Center for Living, part of Chelsea Jewish Lifecare, seeks a Licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN weekend coverage in Peabody, MA. The role involves evaluating residents, developing treatment plans, and delivering skilled OT interventions to improve independence and safety.

The position requires an accredited OT degree, MA OT license, and at least 1 year of experience in long-term care. English fluency is essential, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current MA Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English — both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence, ADLs, mobility, balance, and safety.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to enhance ADLs and upper-extremity function.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to establish goals and deliver coordinated care.
• Train residents and caregivers in adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and fall prevention strategies.
• Complete timely documentation, monitor progress, and maintain regulatory compliance.

• Recommend and train residents and caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and fall prevention strategies to promote safe, independent living.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation, monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain compliance with regulatory and facility standards.

Qualifications for Success:

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current, active MA Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum 1-year experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
