Job summary

Brudnick Center for Living is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for PRN weekend coverage, offering a $50-$55/hour rate based on experience. The role requires a MA OT license and at least 1 year in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current, active MA Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum 1-year experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence, functional abilities, and quality of life.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to enhance activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, mobility, balance, and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to establish goals and deliver coordinated care.
• Recommend and train residents and caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and fall prevention strategies to promote safe, independent living.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation, monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain compliance with regulatory and facility standards
