Job summary

Everleap Fertility is seeking a Weekend Phlebotomist in Basking Ridge, NJ. This part-time role requires venipuncture skills and routine lab specimen collection on Saturdays and Sundays from 5:30am to 11:30am.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of venipuncture experience, proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office, and completion of a phlebotomy program (CA/WA/TX exceptions apply). A comprehensive benefits package is available for those working at least 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
• 3+ years' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting – preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients accurately.
• Perform venipuncture and explain the process to patients.
• Draw blood, label specimens, and centrifuge as required.
• Store and transport specimens per procedures to maintain integrity.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintain clean and stocked phlebotomy area.
• Reassure patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Everleap Fertility has a need for a Weekend Phlebotomist for our Basking Ridge, NJ location. This is for every Saturday and Sunday from 5:30am-11:30am.

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training:

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:
