Job summary

Everleap Fertility in Basking Ridge, NJ seeks a full-time Phlebotomist, Mon-Fri 7:30am-3:30pm with weekend rotation. Performs venipunctures, manages specimens, and supports patient comfort. Maintains EMR documentation and adheres to OSHA/DEP rules.

Requires 3+ years' venipuncture experience, ability to work weekends/holidays, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems. Benefits are provided for 30+ hour workers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and perform venipuncture as required.
• Draw blood, label specimens, and centrifuge as needed.
• Store and transport specimens ensuring integrity.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and maintain a clean phlebotomy area.
• Reassure patients and provide comfort during procedures.

Full-Time Basking Ridge, NJ, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Everleap Fertility has an opportunity for a Full-Time Phlebotomist working Monday-Friday from 7:30am-3:30pm with weekend rotation in our Basking Ridge, NJ office.

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training:

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required
