Job summary

Everleap Fertility in Basking Ridge, NJ, is seeking a Temporary Clinical Assistant for a 6-month, full-time assignment. The role runs Monday–Friday from 5:30am to 1:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, supporting physicians and the clinical team with hands-on patient care to promote comfort and high-quality service.

Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program is preferred; 6+ months MA experience in a physician practice is required; proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected; EMR

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred.
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Everleap Fertility has a Temporary opening for a Clinical Assistant for 6 months. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday from 5:30am-1:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

The Clinical Assistant will promoteand restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare – preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel - required
• EMR experience - preferred
