Job summary

Everleap Fertility is hiring a full-time Phlebotomist in our Basking Ridge, NJ office. You will draw blood for laboratory procedures and support patient care, working Monday through Friday with weekend rotation.

The role requires venipuncture expertise and EMR experience, with a focus on patient comfort and safety. Qualifications include 3+ years of venipuncture, completion of a phlebotomy program (preferred), and ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program is highly preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Draw blood, label specimens, and centrifuge when required.
• Store and transport samples per procedures to maintain integrity.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and maintain a clean phlebotomy area.
• Reassure patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Job description

Everleap Fertility has an opportunity for a Full-Time Phlebotomist working Monday-Friday from 7:30am-3:30pm with weekend rotation in our Basking Ridge, NJ office. This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions And Accountabilities

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred ( required in CA, WA, TX).
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience

• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required
