Job summary

Everleap Fertility in Littleton, CO is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, support laboratory procedures, and provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced fertility clinic.

This temporary position requires 3+ years venipuncture in a lab or hospital, weekend availability, and proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office. You will draw blood, label and transport specimens, maintain a clean phlebotomy area, and reassure patients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Weekend, holiday, and occasional evenings availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and other specimen collection as required.
• Label, centrifuge, and transport specimens while maintaining integrity.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; reassure patients to ease anxiety.
• Maintain OSHA and DEP compliance; keep phlebotomy area clean and stocked.

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection, support laboratory procedures, and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced fertility clinic environment.

Schedule (Temporary Position):

• Tuesday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training:

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required
