Job summary

UNC Health Care in Raleigh, NC is looking for a Pharmacist to join their team on a per diem basis. This role involves optimizing medication use and providing patient care by reviewing prescriptions, managing drug distributions, and counseling patients on pharmaceutical issues. Candidates must have a PharmD or BS Pharmacy Degree and must be licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist licensure with the NC Board of Pharmacy or obtainable before employment.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and interprets prescriptions for patients.

• Compounds and prepares medications including sterile products.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and students during shifts.
