Mission Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Team Lead to guide daily registration operations and staffing, ensuring adherence to department policies and patient experience expectations. You will support supervision with staffing, QA, and staff coaching, while maintaining high service levels across registration areas.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing and ancillary teams, timely deposits/copies, and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback on daily registration processes and staffing to leadership.
• Assist with staffing, report reconciliation, and QA processes.
• Staff and order supplies according to budget and department needs.
• Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Maintain patient wait time QA statistics and report results.
• Oversee daily activities of the registration area to meet standards.
• Relieve staff during sick/vacation time when appropriate.
• Collect deposits and copays; secure signatures for treatments and insurance benefits.
• Collaborate with nursing and ancillary departments to support teamwork.
• Excel in all functions performed by patient representatives in registration areas.
