Job summary

Michaels is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator at our Newtown Square, PA store to plan and run events, including children’s birthday parties, while delivering friendly customer service. You will assist customers, manage checkout experiences, and promote Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct craft projects; perform face painting and related activities.
• Facilitate party add-ons (goody bags, balloons) to company standards.
• Assist customers shopping, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Ensure fast, friendly checkout and enroll customers in rewards programs.
• Support BOPIS and Ship From Store processes and store operations.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and daily SOP adherence.
