Avride is hiring a part-time, weekend Robot Service Technician Assistant to support deployment and maintenance of autonomous delivery robots. You will prepare robots, manage charging, perform basic repairs, and assist with service campaigns on a weekend schedule across campus deployments.

This entry-level role offers weekly pay and opportunities to learn electro-mechanical assembly in a growing robotics company. Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and move items over 50 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift: Ensure all hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
• Put robots/batteries on chargers for the night: Manage power cycles to ensure maximum fleet readiness.
• Clean robots: Maintain physical appearance and protect sensitive external hardware.
• Perform mechanical repairs: Assist with and execute basic repairs on the robot fleet.
• Perform service campaigns: Help implement hardware or software updates across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators: Act as the hands-on field contact for the remote tracking team.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment: Ensure sensors and chassis components are properly tuned for safe navigation.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy: Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace for the entire technical team.
