Job summary

Avride is hiring a part-time, weekend Robot Service Technician Assistant to support the deployment and maintenance of autonomous delivery robots. You will help prepare robots for daily operations, manage charging, perform basic repairs, and assist with updates across the fleet.

This entry-level role offers hands-on learning in robotics and electro-mechanical assembly, with weekly pay and weekend-only schedules at multiple campuses across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and move items over 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts.
• Interest in robotics, EV service, or electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift and ensure hardware/software readiness.
• Charge batteries overnight and optimize fleet readiness.
• Clean robots and protect external hardware.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs on the fleet.
• Support service campaigns and hardware/software updates.
• Assist remote support coordinators as on-site contact.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment for safe navigation.
• Keep the workshop clean and organized.
